What makes my stories special?

Strangely enough, most gay stories are read by women and, even more strangely, most gay stories are also written by women. What I read was "nice", but nothing more. So it was time for gay stories to be written by a gay man who knows the love and sex part of his heroes from his own experience. I would never write lesbian stories because I don't know their emotional world. The crime part of my stories is pure fantasy, though...

My main characters are anything but classic heroes, even though they are of course strong, beautiful and potent. But most of them are not exactly the nice guys next door. Some have already had prison experience, some become killers unintentionally because they will go through fire for their love. My heroes tell their story from the first-person perspective in the present and each story has two parts so that both heroes can tell their part. The eighth story Killer-Daddies is the only one with three parts. This style is much more exciting than the usual one with an omniscient narrator who tells the story in the past. "..., he said.", is the most common and most boring phrase in novels. A film is staged by the actors and takes place "now", even if it is set in the past.

Each story is self-contained and even if I have titled them First/Second/Third/... Story, one can follow it without knowing the previous stories. But from the seventh story Ukraine Boys, the heroes from the previous story re-appear as supporting characters in the next one and become old acquaintances.
